Sim inspired by the song of the same name by Japanese musical group (two women) called "Frank Chickens"
Madame Fatal, by Frank Chickens
"I am here, Madame Fatal, on the fortieth floor radio tower,
Surrounded by silver machines and cold coiled wire.
I am waiting for you to call me, wearing a pair of headphones,
Like a black sea conch, to absolve all your confessions.
I am here, Madame Fatal, radio wave is my tentacle,
I will reach you, from here to anywhere, underneath the town at night,
These crimes that writhe like strange creatures in the sea.
I am here, Madame Fatal, radio wave is my tentacle,
I am here on the fortieth floor, looking down at the whole world,
I will reach you with my soft, invisible tentacles.
Nobody knows who I am, after work I will change my gear,
Ride my motor bike, taking in a midnight race.
Then, when I am on the starting line, everything will be all right.
Coated riders cut through Shinjuku, women stand and wave on the golden
street,
In the windows, old men look shabby, they leave the customers behind.
Those who work outside part so the riders can go through.
Next day one of the maids was found dead in her room.
Nobody knew who came there last, but I knew.
Police didn't want to do much because of my occupation.
So, me and my mates started to move, building on fire gave us a clue.
From the penthouse in the next building, you can catch the sunlight's
reflection,
Pressing on the windows of our radio station.
We found him in the lobby in a tropical suit,
About to leave for his resort on a Pacific Island.
I knew his bones, I knew his goals.
Our bikes gave chase but he crashed in the sea,
We didn't push him, he got panicked, beating hearts breaking under the sea.
Find a burden and dial,
Madame Fatal is here,
Madame Fatal is here."

Background on Kobe Earthquake, January 17, 1995. http://www.athena.ivv.nasa.gov/curric/land/kobe.html
The Doctor: (DRTUNA) a Timelord in his 10th persona.
Irish the Cat: (IrishTCat) Green, telepathic, shape-shifting cat with an attitude. Has a special relationship with the TARDIS. Japanese people in 1995 love cute cats and are amazed at a green one.
Jacie Hunter: (Jen) Young StiG [space-time gypsy] who has grown up on the run and involved in various and nefarious activities. Is quick with her hands and is very flexible in playing different parts and characters as needed by the situation.
Madame Fatal: Radio show host in Kobe, Japan. She has people call up and give their confessions of things they have done or want to do that they are ashamed of. Shame and guilt are very troubling emotions in Japan, and Madame Fatal seems to be able to ease these feelings of those who call her and those who listen. She remains mysterious and relatively anonymous. She is actually a Timelord named Zamona in her last regeneration who has made this spot on the planet Earth her last stop. She is 5'8' tall, thin, long black hair, beautiful features with high cheek bones, looks to be in her early 30's, and has white almost alabaster skin. Simple cosmetic surgery has made her look Japanese. She is extremely fit and loves to wear tight black leather or spandex, but will also wear bright pastels. Loves motorbike riding and racing.
Sweetness Suzuki: Friend of Madame Fatal, she also serves as co-host and
engineer on the "Midnight Confessions" radio show. She is small but resilient,
thin, with very short hair streaked with blue and green. Also
loves motorbikes. Usually wears radical clothing and outfits that turn heads on the
street.
Bones Yakuda: A jeweler in Kobe. He has been swindling his customers for many years by shaving off small portions of gold from their jewels and switching their gems with fakes. After 15 years of this, he has amassed a large supply of gold and plans to take it and retire to a resort in the South Pacific after staging his own disappearance. He is about 50 and is jittery and nervous, and always worries about what others think of him. He is paranoid about his crime. 5'5" tall, he is stocky and bald-headed. He lives in an apartment house [Gentlemen's Palace] for bachelors who cannot care for themselves, so he has all his meals prepared and his clothes cleaned by the maids in the complex.
Callers to Madame Fatal's show, "Midnight Confessions."
Street vendor, taxi driver.
Other characters as needed.
The TARDIS crew lands in a back alley in Kobe. They emerge into the
entertainment district and look around. They find a sidewalk sushi vendor and stop for a
snack. The vendor offers Irish the best fatty tuna he has. The
Doctor gives a lesson in sushi, and explains that they are looking for a female Timelord
named Zamona. The street vendor talks to them while listening to that evening's broadcast
of Madame Fatal, a radio show where people call
in to confess their guilt and she tries to make them feel better about themselves. The
Doctor recognizes the voice of Zamona, and after some directions to the radio tower from
the vendor, they jump in a taxi.
Madame Fatal and Sweetness Suzuki are doing their show. Young people are
calling in and explaining how guilty they feel because they haven't done as well in school
as their parents want, and that they have let them down.
Madame Fatal comforts them with her words and they seem miraculously relieved.
Bones Yakuda takes a look at his stash of gold and jewels to dream of his
soon coming escape with his booty. He notices that his paper seal on that closet has been
damaged, meaning that the maid, when she cleaned his
apartment, must have stumbled into his cache of stolen wealth. He is angry and wants to
kill her to cover up his scheme. As he sits in his tiny living room he feels guilty
because of his desire to kill her. Madame Fatal is on
the air, and so he decides to call her to try and relieve his anger at her for being so
snoopy and uncovering his secret.
The station plays some ads (be inventive) and then takes another call.
This time the caller is Bones, who does not identify himself. He tells his story of having
a stash of gold that has been discovered by someone. He explains
his anger and that he wants to kill her to hide his wealth, but is ashamed at his
feelings. Madame Fatal tries to comfort him and soothe him. She succeeds and the call is
over.
Bones Yakuda calls Madame Fatal and tells her his story while not giving away too many details. He tells his story of having a stash of gold that has been discovered by someone. He explains his anger and that he wants to kill her to hide his wealth, but is ashamed at his feelings. Madame Fatal tries to comfort him and soothe him. She succeeds and the call is over.
As they race across town the Doctor explains Zamona's role in Timelord
society as he remembers it, and that she was involved long ago when Lora died, and while
not responsible per se might know many of the details the
Doctor seeks. The taxi driver has Madame Fatal on the radio and they also listen to Bones
as he talks to her. They arrive at the radio tower.
The Doctor and crew gain entrance to the radio station using the Doctor's
credentials as a reporter for the Tokyo newspaper the Daily Yomiuri. They watch from the
other side of the glass as the show ends. The Doctor and
Madame Fatal make eye contact and instantly recognize each other. The show ends with a
final caller, a disgraced politician considering suicide. The show over, Madame Fatal and
Sweetness greet the TARDIS crew. Fatal invites them to join them for a late night snack so
they can talk quietly. There is an unspoken tension between the Doctor and Madame Fatal as
they ride the elevator down to the street level. Fatal and Sweetness jump on their
motorbikes and the TARDIS crew follows them in a taxi.
Bones feels much better and less guilty. He decides that he has to keep
his scheme alive, and since he feels less guilty after speaking to Madame Fatal, he
decides to kill the maid tomorrow and starts building his plan: he will
call her for help, and then wait outside of her quarters. When she opens her door to leave
he will grab her and kill her in her own quarters. He is so glad Madame Fatal's words gave
him the sense of well being he needs to carry
out the plan.
Will the Midnight Confessions inspire murder in Kobe or is their a darker confession awaiting the Doctor in timelady's Zamora's recollection of the Ancient Days? Join us next week to find out.
