Background

WHAT HAS GONE BEFORE:
One year ago in normal space-time, the Universe endured the worst tragedy it ever forgot. in the supernova explosion of Odin's Eye the Doctor died.  Upon returning to this Universe, the Doctor has found everything far from how he left it. Worlds are being oppressed and it is all the blame of his people. The so-called Central Authority controls all interstellar and intratemporal traffic.
The Doctor and his companions arrived on 20th Century Earth.  Answering a time beacon signal, they found themselves at the Folcroft Sanitarium in upstate New York.  Their arrival anticpated, they found Doc Savage, the man whose help the Doctor needed, along with his five aids and cousin Pat.  Their meeting was interrupted by 3 sinister people who attempted to kidnap one of the sanitarium's patients, one Impiccione Frate.  When the attempt failed, the sinister 3 kidnapped Pat and disappeared...

THE CAST: POSSIBLE CHARACTERS
Reserved roles marked by a [name]

OUR HEROES
The Doctor - [Tuna] - the wandering infamous timelord in his 10th regeneration has returned home to a time of temporal, universal strife.

Irish - [Rob] - he Doctor's feline companion, with green fur, mental powers, a dislike for water and all things that muss his fur.

"Fred" (Eos) - [David] - a member of the race of energy beings known as "The People". After establishing a rapport with Irish, she risked her life to save him and the Doctor. Now in corporeal form, she has taken the human name of Winnifred Stephanie O'Connell ("Fred" for short) for herself.

ALLIES
Doc Savage - Born Clark Savage, Jr..  He was raised from the cradle by scientists.  He was trained to be at the peak of physical and mental prowess.  He is the smartest man in the world.  He stands over 6 ft tall, with sun bronzed skin and hair ( his haircut is in the form of a skullcap).  He moves gracefully and has the appearance of the prime human specimen.  He and his aides fight crime and right wrongs from his base in the Empire State Building.  Immensly wealthy, he puts his wealth to use in fighting crime and helping the innocent.

"Ham" - [Cody] - Brig. Gen. Theodore Marley Brooks.  Perhaps the finest lawyer to graduate from Harvard, and  certainly the best dressed.  His nickname stems from an incident during WWI, when he was framed for stealing hams.  He and Monk constantly heap verbal abuse on each other.  They are also friends and would die for each other.  Ham wields a sword cane, whose blade is tipped with a sticky paste.  One cut will render most men unconcious for about an hour.

"Long Tom" - [Duncan] - Major Thomas J. Roberts.  The top of his field in electronics.  He is of average height, is very thin but has a wiry musculature.  He can fight like a cornered wildcat

Pat Savage - [Jen] - Doc's first cousin.  She is statuesqly beautiful, with the same bronze skin and hair coloring as her cousin.  She loves adventure and comes along on Doc's missions whenever she can, though Doc constantly tries to discourage her.  She runs a high class beauty salon to keep herself from getting bored.

FOES AND OTHERS
Impiccione Frate - an inmate of the Folcraft Sanitarium.  On the surface he seems perfectly sane.  What is his secret?
Agents of the Eye - agents of the (so far unnamed) villain, they wear futuristic clothing and are equipped with futuristic weapons.

The Leader - the currently (unnamed) villain

BEGINNING

In the Eye of the Storm (Pat, Agents & the Leader)

Pat wakes up to find herself securely bound to a comfortable chair at one end of a long table, with a band around her neck .  She has just begin to test her bonds when she hears footsteps.  She pretends to be unconcious, watching from slitted eyelids as the two agents who captured her (or others like them) and a cloaked figure enter the room.  The cloaked figure takes a seat at the other end of the table and the two agents stand on either side of her.
The cloaked figure speaks.  It tells her not to bother, it knows she is awake.  She gives up the pretense, demanding to know the person's identity and why she is there.  The Leader, as he introduces himself, is disappointed in his minion's failure to secure their objective.  However, she will do for the moment.  Pat tells the Leader that Doc and the boys will rescue her in no time.  The Leader says that is very doubtfull, and tells the minions to activate the Persuader.  Pat's mind reels as the device activates and the interrogation begins...

Back at the Sanitarium (the Doctor, Fred, Irish, Doc, Ham, Long Tom & Frate)

The Doctor has just finished investigating the now-deactivated device, while Irish & Fred watch over the bound, unconcious prisoner, when Doc, Ham and Long Tom reenter the library.  Each is carrying a large metal suitcase.  Doc informs them that he has sent the others back to headquarters to await further instructions.  He asks the Doctor to tell him what he has learned so far.
First, the Doctor confirms Doc's hypothosis that Frate's device is indeed a bio-sensor force field, designed to protect the bearer from any Timelord.  He then shows Doc and his men a device, similar in appearance to a watch, that he took off the prisoner.  He explains that it serves to transfer the wearer to and from hyperspace!

MIDDLE

No Escape (Agents & Pat)

The interrogation finished, the two agents escort Pat to a holding cell.  On the way, she comes to and subdues them with righting techniques taught her by Doc.  She sneaks thru the corridors, looking for a way out.  She stops in bewilderment when she comes to a large portal in the wall.  Outside, she sees nothing but grayness, stretching out forever.  Suddenly, the disembodied voice of the Leader can be heard.  It tells Pat it thought it would be better for her to learn on her own that there is no escape.  The band on Pat's neck flares with light and Pat crumples to the floor, unconcious.

The Eye (same as "Back at the Sanitarium")

While the Doctor explains to the others about hyperspace, Doc makes a quick physical examination of the prisoner.  He asks the Doctor the significance of the emblem around the prisoner's neck. The Doctor explains it is a representation of the Eye of Harmony, keystone of Timelord power.  Doc announces the prisoner is awake and they can begin interrogating him.
Doc quickly hypnotizes the prisoner, while the Doctor remarks that Doc's technique is probably the only way they will get any information out of a Timelord.  The prisoner answers all Doc's questions.  When it comes to the identity of the Leader, the prisoner cries out in agony as the Eye symbol on his neck glows fiercely bright.  He then collapses, dead.

ENDING

In Hyperspace ( the Doctor, Fred, Irish, Doc, Ham, Long Tom & the Leader)

Doc asks the Doctor if the "watch" can be made to work for more than person.  The Doctor replies it will be no problem for him.  Doc says all of them will go to this "hyperspace", confront the Leader and rescue Pat. The Doctor agrees, insisting they leave Frate behind.  Doc summons an orderly, who takes Frate back to his room, along with the now-reactivated bio-sensor force field.
Doc and his men load up with equipment taken from the suitcases.  He offers light-weight yet sturdy bullet-proof vests to Fred, who puts it on, and the Doctor, who declines.  When all is ready, the group stands close together and the Doctor activates the "watch".
The sanitarium library disappears from view, to be replaced by metal corridors.  The group steps off the transport pad and begins to investigate their surroundings.  They find an unlocked door, which leads them into a room with a table (the same room Pat was interrogated in).  A cloaked figure sits at the far end of the table.  The figure stands up, welcoming them and telling them they have been expected.  The cloaked figure pulls the hood back, revealing the head of a teenaged boy.  The Doctor frowns.  "As I was beginning to suspect," he says.  "Rassilon."
