The day started out like any other, but as the 10th Doctor's TARDIS approaches the Hellical Galaxy things rapidly go haywire. Alerted to the dangerous time warp that blankets the system, the Doctor is unable to prevent his companions from being drawn into the time loop with three of his former selves. Lost mellenia of galactic warfare between the peaceful Juraians and warmongering Marauds, Brogan and Alex end up on opposite sides of the conflict. But while Alex traces his companion in time with the aid of Doctors 1, 6 and 7, Brogan becomes the defacto caretaker and follower of a mysterious time-traveling renegade determined to alter history and save her family from certain death.

Caught in the temporal explosion at the end of Countdown to Oblivion, the TARDIS is sent spiraling dangerously through the time vortex to the Dawn of Time. After crashing, the crew stumble out of the TARDIS to find themselves in a strange, featureless void of white. Beings appear from thin out and offer to guide the newcomers into their new world. A place where there is no pain or sorrow only everlasting peace. Is this heaven? Or, as the Doctor suspects when he hears the missing Lord President Flavia's mind calling to him, is this the domain of the true "Masters of Time".

Arriving in France instead, they run afoul of a plot to change history, a plot led by the Doctor's old enemy, the Meddling Monk!

When Brogan began her travels with the Doctor she knew it would become the
journey of a lifetime. But after meeting several Doctors, battling a legion of cruel
enemies in time and space, she began to realize special plaguing powers of premonition. It
began in the Dawn of Time when the Universe was young. And now the forces of good and evil
were aligned for the crucial battle to set the course toward Universal harmony or eternal
chaos.
Materialising on the 31st century colony Mirabilis, the TARDIS crew finds themselves drawn
into the new 3rd Intergalactic Federation's conference for peace. The human Hegemonic
military empire has crumbled under the weight of it's own corruption. A new alliance is to
be forged between humans and aliens, but plots of Hegemonic traitors, the mysterious
animal Savages and an ancient evil power circle the gates of the Citadel on Mirabilis.
Betrayal, revelations and destiny is set to unfold. Brogan has had a year to figure out
the meaning of her gifts. Will she or will she too suffer the legacy of the damned?
